I got an engraving of this:

Engraved on the wall is a well-designed image of Tabul Goldenfins the dwarf and Spasmfists the Black Bear by Vutok Vebikrazes.  Tabul Goldenfins is making a plaintive gesture.  Spasmfists is laughing.  The artwork relates to the mortal wounding of the dwarf Tabul Goldenfins by the Black Bear Spasmfists in Portalchamber in the midspring of 277.

Funny story about this... I had completely forgotten that it had happened, but a black bear had gotten in through the walls, through the gates, down five flights of stairs, and attacked poor Tabul in his BEDROOM.  Nice to see it immortalized on the wall

This name is more awesome than hilarious, but one of my champions is named Kubuk Raceconstruct the Saturnine Conqueror of Clenching.  He named his Bronze Warhammer Il Kan, The Word of Tiring in English. Fitting since when he hits goblins with it they get tired of living

Some amusing artifact names:

Cleansedfactions the Fetid Influence, a phylite bracelet.  It did seem to influence more possessions for craft items, so I guess it's fitting.

Inchsects the Rag of Infernos, a chestnut earring.  I think the  name is a hint...

The Sick of Skinning, a Dwarf Bone bin (I think the unfortunate dwarf actually was a tanner, which makes it even better).

Afterwork the Clash of Ferocity, a maple bracelet.  Mind, this one was made during an epic tantrum/berserking event, the one that cased the above bin.

And finally...

The Wild Guilds.  It's a thong.

Necromancers really like writing books right?

There was this necromancer Kammat Cruxopened who wrote a ton of books.

In the late winter of 466 he writes "More Book" about a book about a tower.

In the early winter of 483 he writes "More Book: Natural or Supernatural?" about More Book

Im looking forward to him writing "Even more Book, the Bookiest Book ever written".
