The Golden Forests. It's a desert.
Did someone nuke the elves or something?

My adventurer created a short poem titled "The Narrow Arrow".

...And it looks like my adventurer will be spending the night in a mead hall called the Dangerous Rack.

To the knee?
Considering the previous encounter with arrow-spamming goblins, probably yes.

There's a dwarven necromancer tower located in The Hill of Holes.

Wonder if it was just called "The Hills" before the dwarves got to it.  :P

Back in 0.28, my Group Name was randomly generated as "The Infamous Cat-Sacks." The first caravan of elves showed up with a mating pair of cougars.

I have since that time named every group in every game a Cat-Sacks, randomly selecting and then editing to change it to CatSacks. The Enchanted Cat-Sacks were flooded due to a waterfall design issue. The Legendary Cat-Sacks forgot about flying cavern creatures. The CatSacks of Smiting didn't forgot that trolls can move diagonally.

My current group, The Tufted Cat-Sacks, just acquired a male Giant Leopard from the elves. I **really** hope they bring me a mate someday, and I can start breeding Giant War Leopards.

Curiously, the squad names for my military are The Crafts of Rope and The Rope of Blood.

I have picked world The Cyclopean Dimensions as my new 0.42.02 one because 2/3 of population are goblins.
Civilization The Trade of Nails seemed to pair well with taverns and other stuff of the newest DF version.
This civilization has just one other site though so chosing The Chamber of Births from the third try of random generation sounds like a good idea.
After few dozens of rejected random fort names I settled in Inkedborn and am already planning where to build that Great Library of Likotnóton.

My dwarves named their first tavern "The Nuts of Squirting".

A Bronze Colossus showed up.

His name was Punchgod.

Ironically, he kicked 6 of my dwarves to death.  And by that, I mean he kicked them so hard that they flew back from the force of the blow, and exploded in midair.

Showed up in the first caravan of the year, I had to buy it (even if it cost me dearly on supplies). All I could picture was the writer winking at his fellow scholars as he wrote it.

I'm in adventurer mode and I've just stopped in a hamlet called "Clinchsprays" in "The Wet Hills"  :o
I'm now deciding whether to go to the bandit camp of "Mushroom Shack" (surprisingly in the forest, which means that the camp itself is not a high as its inhabitants must be) or to hunt down criminals in "Panthermosses" (Which I like to call PantherMOSES because I hope I can send those criminals floating down the river  ;)

I think that is pretty funny.

A quick one, I started a fort and wasn't paying attention and killed two of my starting dwarves with a cave-in.  The third miner throws a tantrum and goes down to where the other four dwarves are standing around the wagon.  He slaps a horse, kicks over the wagon, and then proceeds to pick up a barrel of beer an

While adventuring, I heard about a forest titan named Bearleopard.

No idea if it's a bear or a leopard or some other animal entirely, since I haven't seen it in person yet. Sounds like a distant cousin of an owlbear or manbearpig.
