I flip a 3-sided coin that apparently doesn't exist. I forgot to pick which side goes to which direction, so they all go straight. I feel a conspiracy coming, but shake off the feeling.
As I walk blindly forward with not a care in the world, a spike trap comes out of nowhere. I can jump this!

I take a jump, and just barely catch myself from being impaled. I barely make my way back to the ledge, and repeat mistakes of the past.

With the exact same failure too, what a coincidence! I wonder why I can't jump this! Let's try again!

I meet slightly less failure, but I doubt I can survive, but there's only one way to find out!

Success at last! I'd kiss this ground if it didn't look like it would give me the plague. There's a dead end, bummer. I punch the wall in anger, and that apparently activated a pressure plate. I stumble into an old training room, and notice some random guy in it. He isn't dead/undead either, which makes this even weirder.

More stuff happens, and I'm stationed with Trine and Claire on the ambush squad. Why Claire is on the mission, I will never know. What I do know, is that Trine will be a huge asset if we're going to make this thing work. There are a few other faceless soldiers, and Guy working with us.
We pass by my former village on the way to the imperial city of Stevonia. It has been unsurprisingly razed by the mad emperor. I take a minute to mourn the loss, and then we continue our trek.

I'm falling. I am falling, and dancing while falling, and this is just generally not the greatest dance floor I've ever been on. A mysterious hand grabs me, then drags me through a window. It is a nun.

Me: "Who are you, and how far have I fallen?!"
Nun: "I'm the head nun, and you've fallen a grand total of 15 feet."
Me: "15 feet?! I've been falling for hours, how is that even possible?!"
Nun: "A wizard did it."
Me: "Wiiiiizaaaaaaaaard!!!"
