Savegame unloadable, Memory access violation
« on: January 22, 2008, 07:25:00 pm »

I am using wine to play on linux. It worked well (apart from speed) during
the last week, but now my savegame won't load. I use vanilla 33g.
The code address trying to do the access is reported as 0x7dd7eb, but that
might not match the windows address  :(

Sympoms are: Game loads ok and displays the entrance gate, (hotkey F1 position I assume) and then the access violation occurs.

Which files do I need to upload whereto so others can investigate (possibly under windows)?

Okay, I've patched it up for the next release.  It saved when there was a unit of some kind in mid-air, and the id number was corrupt.  Not sure what was going on to cause that, but it'll fix such problems up on load and write an error string instead of crashing now.
