In development Version Legend Quirkiness
« on: May 30, 2008, 12:28:00 am »

Here is something strange I noticed in the Hydra's kill long Toady posted.  (He didn't make any comment on it so I don't know if he saw it.)

quote:

In  184, Obruk  Mucoustakes  the Brave  Hide of  Barbarians attacked  Damsto
Terrorlight.
In 184, Damsto Terrorlight's head was ripped by Obruk  Mucoustakes the Brave
Hide of Barbarians.
In  184, Damsto  Terrorlight managed to  escape from  Obruk Mucoustakes  the
Brave Hide of Barbarians's onslaught.

I am guessing that Damsto died in some manner and thus escaped, but it looks a little strange.(Unless Damsto is an ettin now with one head...)

Yeah, "ripped" in this case is a red-level wound caused by a GORE-type attack. "Ripped off" would be a complete detachment. Hm, I'd like the legends to have that listed intead of just "was killed by" entries.  :D
