Yeah, it doenst actually supports JOYSTICKS, on ly gamepads and K&M. People still call gamepads joysticks for reasons I cannot fanthom. Believe me, I have the game, it doesnt.
Thank goodness I have both types (though I prefer to use the joystick (or I think console gamers would call them flightsticks)); I have an XB360 controller for good measure at least.
Let's hope it controls similar to Ace Combat or Air Force Delta games, otherwise, I may be in for some trouble.
EDIT:
Did a bit of flying. I expected more maneuverability and control over the craft. Not to forget, that game gets rather graphics intense. I'll have to really nerf it when going online. Personally, I like simulators more. I mean, I can't stall out my craft and make it do a cutback drop turn-style maneuver in mid-air (essentially, half-an-Immleman; but same purpose; good for descending, and doing a 180, or a 90 in either direction, or just dropping straight down for tons of speed for another maneuver queued up in your bag of aerial tricks). I love doing that maneuver to take down others. Second to it, if done correctly, being able to angle-strafe (essentially managing to somewhat fly sideways or backwards while maintaining forward momentum) is also a fun dick-move maneuver to pull off. They require some serious engine micro-managing and concentration with the flight-stick (and plenty of rudder), but still, fun as hell to perform, and funny as hell if you get a kill with it.
