Well, obviously nobody would be stupid enough to go against a pirate armada with a junk ship. They'll think we've got an enormous battlefleet as back-up hidden in ambush and will surrender immediately.

Yeah. Don't be so stupid? Do we even have weapons? The OP said nothing about this ship having weapons.

Edit: IMHO It'd be a good idea to go to one of those Varis colonies, those probably have smaller, more manageable problems.

And how is 'Lucky Bucket' lewd? We're basically flying a bucket with an engine on it. It needs all the luck it can get.
