Blitz indeed. I usually do not war with a faction until I am prepared to take at least half of all its settlements within one turn. This means that I don't have to worry about actually taking out their armies, because they seem to only very very rarely stay around as rebel armies once I grind the faction out.

You know, why haven't we organized some games online yet? Anyone interested?

Sadly, as far as I know, MTW 2 does not have campaign multiplayer, which would be the only thing that I would be interested in.

Same with me.  The skirmish battles just aren't that fun when there is no overall strategy.

I've considered trying to set up a succession game but it would be a royal pain to sync up our games and I don't even know how perfect my EB installation is.

I don't think I could handle a succession game without getting someone pissed off. Mostly becouse I tend to try and cultivate traits that are usually 'bad' for generals, just so I can get more amuseing general speeches.

I ran a community game a while ago that fell apart because I hate math. Basically every general was a player, and I recorded their income, army upkeep, expenses, etc. I had a tax on them for government dependencies (unmanaged villages) and for the betterment of the crown (padding the king and princes pockets). It was really fun to do, but time consuming. Also my players were indecisive.

I could try running it again though, with preference given to you guys, if you think it sounds fun.

My Generals, becouse the speeches amuse me, tend to be walking talking bags of rape, murder, and demencia.

If Shogun 2 is released with AI as good as that in some mods, it will probably be the best TW ever. A guy had a SS campaign where there were 3 nations left at the end of his game. He was the Byzantines, having most of the central map and the remaining 2 were England in the west and a Muslim/Russian nation I forgot the name of in the east. He was caught in the middle. Epic.

Ya know, I realised something horrible when I looked back at my post. You know that trait for fertility that effects how many kids your general is likely to have? The best one mentions that even once with a woman will make her pregger. I once had a general with that, along with my normal 'walking bag of rape, murder, and demencia' traits. He must of had alot of basterds. I think, but I'm not 100% here, that I was playing as Scotland or Venice.

Alright. I'll dig up my old thread, change up the rules a little to kill off the headaches, and get started.

Well, I hope others join in as well.  Will this be in Europa Barbarorum?
