1. I am Supreme Overlord. I control diplomacy, the navy, the King, the Prince, and the cities governed by those two.
2. We are the Popes bitch, no matter what.
3. You players are a coalition of lords. Major decisions will be made democratically.
4. We will keep up a good pace of pages per turn.

Onto the good stuff.

I will have auto-govern on and will run un-governed locations. A player with no lands can ask for a given settlement, and I will probably give them it. You are only a player once you have a character. A player can choose who to give control of his children to. A player can choose to control one (1) of his children in addition to himself. Armies must be led by a general, always. All battles will be auto-calc. I will keep track of your income, expenses, and army upkeep. You will not overspend. If possible, I would like to ignore island settlements because a) they are a pain to have to ferry back and forth and b) with the AI disabilities, I consider it almost cheating.

I would like to see player interactions be juicy. Examples: Protection pacts between settlements; a strong fortress running a protection racket; voting alliances, bribes, etc..

Stainless Steel I would suggest for M2TW or Deus Lo Vult.

Dues Lo Vult is very character based I've read so would go well for players being assigned Characters.

I won't participate though since I always get lost, its easier for me to just read it like an AAR.

I'd like Scotland or France.

Or Turkey if we're feeling craaazy.

I'd say we get stainless steel. The turns will slow down to taking 5-10 minutes for the AI to make decisions though, depending on your comp. It provides much better AI and new/changed nations.

I say we play Turkey. Never tried it before, sounds fun.

I'd prefer a Christian nation, since I have no experience with the Jihad council and all. Also because the larger regions, like the ones in Africa and the east, destroy my computer for some reason.

Stainless steel, play Ireland. They start off with 2 provinces, have to conquer a big ass load of rebels, then conquer England and Scotland. Then cover the world in green. Fun times.

You would have to use an older version of Stainless Steel though to get Ireland, they removed that faction in the current version.
