This is getting ridiculous. For those of you who don't read yahoo news, it's gone straight down the tube to the septic tank. They've been doing this for months but it's reaching a fevered pitch.

These are links in the American political section. I can't discuss them on the Yahoo site, since the Chinese and corporate spammers are working overtime to sway American opinion how they want it and I couldn't get my voice in even if I tried.

Can't you people see that the newspeople are trying to get Sarah Palin to run because she's so malleable and stupid that she can't be anything but newsworthy which means money for them? The corporate world also knows this and we might just have another George W. on the horizon, but this time it'll probably be even worse because they planned it this way and are doing everything in their power to make it so. It's an unholy triumvirate of greed, dishonesty, and selfishness. Look out guys, political outsider coming through, straight from the heart of the Republican party!

Anyways, I'd like to have this thread be a daily dump for absurd yahoo political stories for those that are interested. Forum go-ers, are you down to expose yellow journalism at it's finest? I anticipate and hope for a friendly war of daily link dumping between the two sides. Please don't attack each other but don't spare the articles, as we will all learn something from this.

Huh, Ann Coulter writes columns for Yahoo News?  I was wondering where she went off to.

Some might say that Palin's resignation was shortsighted and showed that she was not ready for the demands of executive office. But if Palin had remained governor, she would have been denied opportunities to rally the tea party and fight in the battle over the Obama agenda. She would have been stuck on a regional stage. Instead, she's back on the national one.

That is not a rebuttal to the statement "Resigning as governor was rash".  That is a rebuttal to the statement "Being governor would not interfere with political activism".  Resigning from being governor does not make you a better governor, it makes you not the governor.

Yes, but more importantly, it's not Palin's fault.
Bush declared war on a terrorist group, but as far as I understand we can't really get out of it because of both it creating a power vacuum in the region, and new matters are constantly being layered on it. Sort of a 'while were in there...' kind of thing.
