Groovester, you humourless git,
strategy is, always, with wit
      get everyone talking
      start reading and poking
'till you find what shoe the scum fit.
            8-P
This is a fantastic response. You are a fantastic person.
So.... anything more specific than standard town strategy?

Your sarcasm sweetens my ears
but one's role doesn't change one's careers.
      Same strategy applies,
      one need not revise:
Get the scum's gonads as souvenirs!

PS: The limericks are called for by the flavour text! And I love them, so quit giving me a hard time, y'all. You should rather try it yourselves.

These responses could not get any more awesome.

So you're telling me that if you were a sorcerer, you wouldn't do anything during the day to try and buff yourself up?

Like call for a colour, you mean?
Tell the people "hey trust me, I'm clean"?
      The best rule of thumb
      is just find the scum.
Nah, once they fall down, it's routine.

I know what to do in a mafia game, limerickhead.

I wanted you to speculate and hypothesize so I could get a read on you but I guess this is just as good.

Groovester, same question to you:
How would the buff-up you do?
      revealing your colour?
      Or just giving an odour
of particular magic to cue?

Zathras, limericks suck
Haiku are far superior
Scum for wasting time

Person, you haven't
given my question answers:
Preferred scumbuddies?

I really want to rhyme but I suck at limericks. Damn it.

Jim Groovester: No, I wouldn't do anything special. It'd be pretty hard to support a specific color without making it known that you were said color's sorcerer, and that's just asking to be NKed.

Mr.Person, who would you least want as town sorcerers?

Criptfeind, would you rather be a well-informed apprentice or an in-the-dark sorcerer?

Enough with the goddamn limericks.

I'd propose that everybody support two schools, with the one I belong to being one of them. I'd claim I was an apprentice doing it on behalf of a sorcerer so that he didn't have to claim. How assertive I would be about it would depend on what bonuses having multiple apprentices would get me.

Hey, let me have my fun. Blame it on Janus, and a bit of unintended synchronicity with VM3. But on your answer: your doing it "on behalf of a sorcerer" would imply knowledge of them and their colours, do you know them? Plus you'd be called out for rolefishing if you tried it day one. It'd never work. Best strategy is to play RVS and scumhunting as normal.

IronyOwl (and all!): join the limericking fun. Get help here. It's amusing, and I plan to keep doing it, but it really messes one's head not being able to edit when you find out the scansion is slightly off or the rhyme not quite right (like "talking" and "poking"). One has to just let it go. *sigh*

Blah blah let's do everything the boring way.

But on your answer: your doing it "on behalf of a sorcerer" would imply knowledge of them and their colours, do you know them? Plus you'd be called out for rolefishing if you tried it day one. It'd never work. Best strategy is to play RVS and scumhunting as normal.

What? It doesn't imply knowledge of the sorcerers. That doesn't make any sense. Why would it imply that knowledge?

The whole idea is to organize the town to support two schools of magic so that the sorcerers don't have to do it themselves and become nightkill bait. An apprentice could do it and a bold sorcerer could just as easily do the same, and claim to be an apprentice if asked. Choosing two is an attempt at looking impartial, but there's also (a 50/50) chance that if everybody agrees to the plan and splits themselves perfectly with their support that the scum's school (since I'm assuming there is a scum school) doesn't get picked.

JetSquirrel, come join the fun.
By whom was Tim Blue's murder done?
      Choose three from the players
      that'd provoke the town's prayers.
Who would be scariest as scum?

I'll one-up the both of ya!

Players
- Criptfeind (Ideal sorcerer, nobody ever nightkills Criptfeind)
- Eduren (My random baseless guess for who gets lynched d1, read into that what you will. Good sorcerer, I guess)
- IronyOwl (Would probably claim being sorcerer for no reason, so maybe a good scumbuddy)
- Jetsquirrel (I'd like to use a lifeline, I have no idea.)
- Jim Groovester (Best sorcerer possible right up until he gets killed on the first night)
- Jokerman-EXE (Would be a good scumbuddy, horrible sorcerer since he's part of the group of players likely to get nightkillled)
- Mr.Person (Bestest scumbuddy, bestest town sorcerer)
- Org (DO NOT WANT (no offense, I just wouldn't work well with you Org and you've proven to not be so good with PR)
- Zathras (Scumbuddy? Why not, there's no standout amazing scum players in this game. I wouldn't trust a newer player with a PR, though)

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

Why?

Zathras (2) - Jim Groovester, Mr.Person

What's up here? It looks like two random votes that conveniently fell on the same person. Do either of you really think Zathras is scum? Because both of your votes have been targeted at his limericking and not really much else.
