Take off your shirt, run to a neighbor's lawn, and then run in circles while shouting "STRANGER DANGER!!!!".
Realize that it's a horrible idea and find out that Alaska has broken off from America and the whole world has developed into many Countries at War.

You quite think that that is a terrible idea. Also, Alaska is the same as it has been for years. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the world...
Your Spidey Danger Senses are tingling. You have a very bad feeling about this. You're sure when the clock changes from 9:00, something bad will happen. perhaps only that a dog will kill a cat, or perhaps... No. Better had not think about that.

Sense the impending doom coming from the fact the UN moved it's headquarters to Paris, America and Russia pulled out of the UN, Europe became a country, and the fact the oil derricks are running low.

We must prepare for the impending disaster. Turn the news back on and grab a can of soda.

About what?

Why, about the absurdity of a global catastrophe, perhaps killing 80% or more of the population. Carp, you thought about it.

Sense the impending doom coming from the fact the UN moved it's headquarters to Paris, America and Russia pulled out of the UN, Europe became a country, and the fact the oil derricks are running low.

... You're quite sure Nothing like that will happen. But you do have a sneaking suspicion that the UN will be destroyed by 16:00 Tonight. Carp. Did you just think that?

We must prepare for the impending disaster. Turn the news back on and grab a can of soda.

You move to the Kitchen, and grab a soda, and return to the sofa. You then turn the television back on. You then glance at the clock... [9:01] This bodes ill. Any moment now....
[Next update will include catastrophe]

Look around the room
You look around the room. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just the door to the kitchen, and your garage. You look back to the TV. Holy carp. A large green burst of light came from behind the news anchor. Some strange four... legged? creature appeared. The news crew ran away screaming. this bodes ill. This bodes very ill.
You look out the window, nervously. You notice the same Green light coming from your back yard. This bodes Very, Very ill.

[By the way, your inventory is a quantum stockpile. Meaning you can hold unlimited stuff, but nothing larger than a normal sized microwave. Guns ignore this rule.]

Make a weapon out of a sofa leg.

You try to stay level-headed. You proceed to take a leg off of your sofa for use as a club.
Surely there must be something better in the gara... Nah, most likely not.

[Weapons list will be separated by hyphens, and each weapon will have either a {M} for Melee, or {R} for ranged.]

You would happily equip your shotgun, providing you had one.

Grab the largest knife we can find from the kitchen. Then take a peek at our backyard again.

Quote from: Phantom
Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.
Quote from: Ze Spy
Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Grab everything in our house the size of our microwave and smaller, and put it in our inventory. Climb the staircase to our flat roof and look around.

Grab the largest knife we can find from the kitchen. Then take a peek at our backyard again.
Grab ALL the knives in the kitchen, for throwing.

You grab every knife in the kitchen. This provides you with a mere 9 for throwing, and one for some serious up-and-personal slicing.
[Throwing weapons will be placed in the inventory]

Grab everything in our house the size of our microwave and smaller, and put it in our inventory. Climb the staircase to our flat roof and look around.
[I suppose I walked right into that.]
That sounds impossible.. But you'll at least pick anything up mildly useful. You can always come back later.
You arrive on the roof of your house, and look around the city from your 3rd story vantage point. You see many green flashes in the city streets, and even on the roof tops. In fact, it wouldn't be far off to assume one would appear... Right next to you.
A small green flash occurs next to you. A small four legged... thing hops out. Strife! The creature... stare at you, you suppose. But, then again, it doesn't seem to have eyes. It then takes a large leap at your head, you dodge, and it sails clean off the roof. You suspect next time you will need to fight.
