On a related note, how long is each participant going to have the save file for, and will it be measured in real time or DF time?

I'll take any turn, but I'd prefer the second or the third.

Also:
another question, can we do personal logs and back stories while we wait for our turns?

I like this plan. If, when we get around to embarking, we can get a screenshot of each of our dwarves' Thoughts and Preferences screen, that would be cool.

I'd like my turn pretty early on, please. That way, I get an established fortress that (hopefully) isn't too chaotic and (hopefully) has a managable population. Of course, this is all very malleable and I may end up against HFS by my turn, but hey, losing is fun! ;)

I will go whatever is earliest. It's fun to make fortresses needlessly difficult to continue.

It's probably made from baby bone, with a handle of baby leather. Probably uses the leg bones wound together for the handle, the pelvis for the handle/pick joint, and the pick is the spine.

But that's all in theory, of course. Not like I've made a pick out of my own 5 month old baby before.

2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th will do for me

is this a custom parameters world? if so then please make a custom one with only 1 cavern layer, this makes it easier and less time consuming to reach fun, and magma, also whats the embark size?

I just realized, after adding the new body parts to the other races, that I have an entire squad of dwarves with a shield in each hand and swinging their axes with their penises. There's nightmare fuel for those goblins, in more ways than one.

It is indeed a custom parameter world. My last fortress on this map had one cavern ten levels down then magma sea about twenty. So lotsa fun to be had. Embark Size is seven. I will have initial embark save file up here ASAP. Also, we need someone for turn 1
