Fascinating. It's weird to know that I am making up 10% of Bay12's daily user activity.

How can we know!?

While walking is technically a mechanic in Iron Lung I'm not sure if its appropriate to call it a walking simulator, considering that you can get two steps in and then have to turn around.

Last Saturday we had a catered lunch at work. The food was kept warm by chafing fuel; those little cans filled with flammable jelly, a common brand being Sterno. Apparently, one of the water trays under the food spilled a little. The douchebag supervisor nearly burned the whole place down because he placed paper towels under the tray... right next to the lit cans. Right after the manager told him not to do that.

But that's not the WTF. This morning I discovered that whoever was doing cleanup decided the best way to put out the chafing fuel was to run all the cans under the sink. Besides the cans, there was a layer of thick, blue, flammable, toxic jelly in the bottom of the sink. I did inform the managers about this, but I did not see how they cleaned it up. Really hope they didn't just wash it all down the drain, but they probably did.

Why oh why does modern television/cinema have this fetish with narration?  Reveal the plot and backstory, don't narrate it, dangit!

modern TV, in the age of streaming services, only has to be good enough to get your attention. It no longer has to be good enough to be sold through word-of-mouth

has to be good enough to get you to watch the ads, that's it

Funny, I'd say that's the opposite. With streaming everyone has access to all shows all the time, being the best and attracting word of mouth attention seems like the best way to get watched, and many platforms don't even have ads.

:scriver, Cheesemakers, has been found dead, completely drained of blood!:
At first I read it to be a pluralis majestatis, but then it would have been 'have been found dead' instead of 'has'.
I am now officially confused by the grammar
