Shit. That's the ER for you, find the earliest opportunity to tell someone they're fine and should go, after keeping them waiting until after midnight so they can bill you for a 2-day stay(I got there before 6PM).

I've already decided not to ever visit that ER again.

Yeah, but what's his recourse? I think that's the frustrating part. "Ride it out" is usually how virals go. But that's a hell of a take away when the rest of your life is so disrupted. People tend to rest easier when they know what the problem is rather than when someone has "guessed" what the problem is.

I know doctors do the best they can for the most part. But it's not the first time I've personally experienced getting dismissed from the ER without any real guidance. And that's super frustrating given the cost of health care in America.

It could be viral. But Akura has been sick for 10 days at this point and it's getting progressively worse.

Oh, and it could be just about anything else that messes with the digestive tract and blood. Poisons, mechanical damage, whatever. Unless they can determine exactly what virus it is, they can't even be sure it is viral.

I looked it up, because I remembered the doctor I saw last Friday mentioned it, and it might actually be Crohn's Disease. Which would really suck since that's incurable. A few of the things I've been experiencing, including the anemia, are signs of Crohn's.

Yeah. I know a few people with Crohns and your symptoms do kind of track. Maybe even the mild fever. The chronic and unsolveable dehydration though....not typically a symptom. But if you're having intestinal inflammation then maybe you're having absorption problems as part of that.

Last year one of the players in the Bay12 Dominions 5 match lost access to their forum account, and it took over a month for registering a new one to go through. I bet the Toad has sped that along since the steam release, but it could be a factor for more guests vs users.
