Was it me? There was a sausage in my water, though.

Nah it was this cool American dude who lived with me for a while. He was a super talented pianist but lived on takeaway his whole life. He attempted to cook pasta once but read "bring water to boil" and didn't know when the water was finished "boiling" so he kept going until he burned the pot. Somehow. A pot of water.

Well, fairly recently I accidentally charred a pot in a similarly stupid fashion.
I heated my dumplings, set the stove to minimal flame, fished them out. Then I forgot to actually turn the stove off.
I went to work, and 9 hours later, I returned to a weird smell in my apartment. Then, in the darkness, I saw the gas flames under the pot.
Luckily, the minimal flames were only enough to char the dumpling residue, not actually light it on fire. The pot was merely dirty, not damaged. The PTFE stirring spoon laid over the pot was also undamaged.

My brother ruined a couple tea kettles that way too. Put them on without the whistle covering and just let them boil away to nothing because he forgot about them.

I remember when I was a kid a big ceramic baking pan got left on the stove top, not sure how it happened but the burner under it got turned on without people knowing about it and a we only found out when the thing exploded, you wouldn't think something meant to be used in an oven would do that.

Snow here too. Even in Siberia it's rare for there to be snow in late April. lmao.

My desk chair is failing suddenly. Yesterday, it was fine. This morning, it was tilted slightly. Today, after getting home, I nearly fell off it when I sat down. Definitely a problem where it connects to the foot. Only had it for 8 months.

Snow here too. Even in Siberia it's rare for there to be snow in late April. lmao.

It's snowing right this minute in Wyoming, where it would be unusual to not get some snow even in early May, and this is in the warmer part.

Sometimes you lookin' at warnings on something, and it hits you that enough people did that thing someone felt the need to print that label on every single one of these things made. Sometimes, that sorta' makes sense (frozen pizza not specifically made for it, nuking that is possible but it's honestly both a health risk and a very, very acquired taste), but other times...

It's more like one person gets a fuckton of money, and then the company puts the label on.
