One of my newer housemates hasn't apparently been paying their rent and the landlord can't reach them, so they've sent me messages about it. I've now asked two or three times for the guy to contact the landlord, but just got another message that he hasn't done it.

Fortunately we all have our own contracts so we're not responsible for the fuckups of others, but I'm quite certain this'll affect how long the landlord is willing to rent the place.

Should be noted too, that where I live, it's fairly easy to get the social service to pay for your rent if you have serious troubles paying it (so as to prevent people from being kicked out from their homes due to poverty).

I just spent an hour reading the composer of the DOOM Eternal soundtrack's response to the accusations and allegations made about them by Id's Executive Producer.

My god. The way he was treated and jerked around and betrayed and lied to and manipulated....you almost don't want to believe it. But this is the other side of the story, from the one the Id exec posted to Reddit, blaming him for all the short comings and problems with the OST. It is, if you'll pardon the pun, a hell of a read.

Fuck Id, Bethesda and Zennimax. That shit is monstrous.

I swear my alcohol tolerance is getting worse and worse, but my recovery faster and faster. One beer and I was pretty damn buzzed. In an hour, I was almost normal again.

Considering MtF HRT's supposed to make your alcohol tolerance crap out, I'm probably gonna be in a permanent drunk-recovered cycle.

Beer is unique in that it is a fixed amount of alcohol.  Wine/Spirits/Mixed can vary, so one can "feel" different, but beer is a fixed experience.

Beer absolutely is not fixed. It can be as strong as wine in some instances.

But I live in Wisconsin, so there’s beer everywhere. Like… I live in a residential area. There is a brewery in the next street, and there are a handful of micro-brewery pub things within walking distance too. There’s maybe 30k people in the town?

To get to this level I used to need 2-2.5 of these beers (Franziskaner, in case you're curious). Also like said, beer's not fixed.

One of my favorite activities is daydreaming, just immersing myself in some kind of fantasy to place myself in some kind of imagined scenario. I get really into my daydreams, a good daydream sets the mood for my whole evening, and these daydreams build up the roster of fictional characters and stories that I'm stockpiling in my head.

Lately though my daydreams are getting very violent. I have no idea why I apparently have so much psychic anger to take out on imagined opponents. I have to really stop myself right in the middle of the fantasy with the realization that I'm being a huge asshole and I'm being unhealthy towards myself. It just kinda surprises me where my mind has been taking me lately.
