I just realized that the same emperor was head of Tamriel for the first 4 elder scolls games.

The same guy who got locked in oblivion was the same dude banging his subject's wives and allowing space-time contradictions was the same guy who shipped all his prisoners over to fantasy Australia in the hopes that one of them would murder the native's god was the same guy who had bastard children everywhere that all got assassinated in synchronization with him in a demon plot to overthrow the world.

Guy got around, had incredibly loose security (like opium addicted spymasters) and it all means that the champion, courier, neveraine, and obliviondude could all have met up at one point.

As far as I know, he had one bastard son and 2 or 3 legitimate ones. The legitimate sons got assassinated though.

As per Night falls on Sentinel, Morrowind takes place at least 20 years after Daggerfall. The book can be found in TES III and is a historical event that is 20 years after Daggerfall.
I never looked up how long between Arena and Daggerfall. I know that it is about 2 years between Morrowind and Oblivion, and exactly 200 years between Oblivion and Skyrim.

But yeah, in theory the Eternal Champion, the Agent of the Blades, the Nerevarine, and the Champion of Cyrodiil could have all met at some point before TES III. Nerevarine canonically disappears after that, having last been seen heading for Solstheim.

I'm pretty sure Caius Cosades wasn't actually a user of Skooma, that was just his cover identity (a couple of NPCs who don't know he's a Spymaster mention he seems surprisingly lucid for a Skooma addict).

Eternal Champion disappeared, Agent of the Blades had whatever happens when you get killed in one timeline and then they all get merged together, Nerevarine 'went to Akavir', Champion of Cyrodiil became the next Sheogorath. Dragonborn probably will just get yeeted into Apocrypha by Hermaeus Mora. Heroes don't tend to retire and lead good lives after the game ends xD

Weirdest bug(?) yesterday.

I was pasting phonetic unicode characters that I had typed into WordPad into OpenOffice Calc when sometime afterwards Calc's toolbar started flashing. Worried, I quickly shut the program down (normal shutdown). Then it got worse. OpenOffice couldn't open or save any regular files (though it could open .rtf), Firefox couldn't download anything, Windows Photo Viewer couldn't view any images because I "lacked permissions"... yet Paint.net, Notepad, and WordPad worked just fine.

Stranger, C:\User\...\AppData\Local\TEMP was inaccessible, even as administrator (insert Palpatine).

I ran chkdsk in case of disk errors, it found nothing. Anti-Virus found no malware after a full PC scan.

My one saving grace was a Windows restore point from last week. System restore seems to have fixed the issue.

I can only guess that pasting those phonetic characters caused the local TEMP directory permissions to get fucked. Perhaps it's an OpenOffice bug (I should probably update it...), or perhaps the anti-virus program thought the phonetic characters looked malicious and interfered.

Windows does weird, weird shit. I'd hang and crash out explorer.exe just trying to move .ogv files. I can't criticize too hard though, because I wrecked my desktop environment/file manager/user experience/settings widgets in Linux by misplacing the wallpaper image I was using, so.

It's a miracle sometimes anything even runs at all, from what I've seen working in software development.

I woke up today, and from some slurry of my dreams I immediately started thinking about a crossover between the anime Death Note and Breaking Bad, called "Meth Note", where the main characters of both shows team up to create a drug empire, and of course L teams up with Hank to take them down. Somewhere in this story, season 1 Jesse encourages Ryuk to put down the apple and pick up a meth pipe, to great comedic effect.

I went to garage sale today and there was a computer tower with Windows XP on it and I figured I could get it to play some of the older games I have on it, but when I asked how much it was the guy said he wanted 40 dollars for it, and holy shit that's a lot of damn money for something that old I don't care how good a shape it's in. Needless to say I didn't buy the damned thing.
