I have a history of making fun of mayo and then finding out it's in stuff I enjoy.  Putting it in noodles sounds weird but it's almost literally what I was doing with regular eggs, so I reckon I'll give it a try sometime.

Just have to be careful about mayo dishes spoiling like any eggy dish.  That's probably how I got turned off of it, and runny eggs, as a kid.

I do kinda' hate mayo, but if you're okay with it on bread, you shouldn't have any problem with it on noodles. They're basically the same thing, just in different shapes.
But the taste and texture are different enough to give different experiences.

and runny eggs,
They are things of evil.

Runny eggs are lush. I won't have you disrespect them.

So a house across the street got its window smashed in at 7am. Two hooded boyos nicked a TV, walked several feet down the street, and removed their hoods.

One might suggest if they were smart enough not to do that, they probably wouldn’t be criminals.

I mean it takes a special kind of stupid to tan some windows in at 7am on a Monday morning in Summer.

I was going to joke that they've learned to remove their masks after leaving a "shop", but I mean that could literally be what happened.  Learned behaviors are weird

They spent several minutes attempting to break the window.

With a chair.

Don't besmirch the Wet Bandits like that, they conducted several successful break-ins with no trouble at all. They even impersonated the police in order to scope out targets ahead of time and meticulously plotted the security systems. If they hadn't encountered Kevin they would have made a clean sweep.

Also: Two guys without hoods carrying a TV is notably less suspicious than two guys with hoods carrying a TV.

...but yeah.

Why would you need to people to carry a TV, they aren't that heavy. Also why at 7AM that seems a little past time to be stealing stuff and about prime time to get caught.

Presumably it wasn't that it was heavy but that it was wide

It's actually a better idea to steal during the day funnily enough, provided you know the house is going to be empty, especially if you need to move something big or break something.

Modern TVs are heavy enough and thin enough that carrying a large one by yourself for significant distance can actually damage it. It is fine for moving around a room, and both the stands and mounting points are situated in a way that distributes the weight safely, but you won't necessarily do that if you're grabbing it and going.

Modern TVs are so inexpensive I don't even know why you'd risk the effort.  Maybe more of a "hey we can get away with it" stunt than wanting the TV?

I guess I'm not really in that criminal scene, but maybe it is possible to be a self-employed wealth redistributor and be able to make more net effective income per unit effort than working a "traditional" job?  Even with the risk of involving law enforcement?

Burglary is more often a crime committed by people that can't hold a traditional job. The most common groups of people are drug addicts looking for something they can pawn off to buy a quick fix, or minors who want cash for a whole host of reasons. Simple poverty is rarely a reason, because just about any job - even a crappy fast-food gig at minimum wage - tends to pay better with less risk.
