New law in Russia: foreigners working in Russia, and their children age 7 and above will need to have themselves checked by a psychiatrist, a drug abuse therapist, and an infectious disease specialist, once every 3 months, to be allowed to stay in Russia.
They are also obliged to provide all biometric data they can give to the Russian authorities.

People who test positive for drugs, HIV, leprosy, syphilis, tubercolosis, or corona, or whom a psychiatrists deems strange, will be deported out of the country.

Foreign companies doing business in Russia are outraged. The chairman of the German-Russian chamber of commerce expects an exodus of foreign companies from Russia.

Russia has always been xenophobic. Try finding a black person in Russia.
Over here, universities actively discourage people of colour to take an internship in Russia, because they cannot guarantee their safety if they leave campus sites. Russian neo nazis will beat them up while police stands next to it pointing and laughing.

EDIT: Heh, among the tests is also a full lung X-ray, every 3 months. Expect to get radiation cancer if you go work in Russia

Russia for the Russians, I suppose. There is recent drama since the International Congress of Mathematicians will be held again in Russia in 2022, but Russia is extremely homophobic. The safety of queer mathematicians and their families cannot be guaranteed during their stay; the organizers have promised to supply an ombudsman and some "see something, say something" type volunteers to watch the main venue, but given the scale of the issue, this is not an adequate accommodation.

Russia routinely uses "For the sake of Ethnic Russians!" As a pretext to its attrocities.

For all Russia tries to reclaim the USSR, it is very ethnocentric.  As it always was (because the soviet worker rebellion was co-opted by assholes.)

Voltage measurement never works for SOC because there's usually a huge plateau of basically constant voltage.  Anyone who isn't integrating power over time to computer charge just isn't doing it properly.

I suspect what is happening is that they are using both voltage and power integration, and there was a big voltage drop but it didn't line up with the power integration, so it set to the "I assume this voltage is this power level" but then the voltage remained constant for much much longer than expected after that.

Is the phone cold?

The phone has an embedded charge logic system, that estimates the battery's charge and health, by measuring only 3 variables.

Voltage
Resistance through the cell
Cell temperature

If any of those are anomalous, (with temp being the easiest to screw with), it will misreport the capacity or health of the cell.

Since there are only 3 variables, the charge controller also keeps track of energy in, and energy out, with a digital counter.

If for some reason the value in the counter is wrong, it will ALSO misreport.

on top of that, the device itself also keeps another counter, which can get confused a number of different ways.

Basically, a battery being misreported is a 'no shit, really? TELL ME MORE" meme.

Ofcourse, it's also possible that a dimensional rift has opened inside your telephone, providing limitless charge.
