Two minutes browsing past Reddit indicates that Dread was originally a rumour title or feature back in the Metroid Prime days and got an easter egg callout in Prime 3, so the folks making Prime had their ears on the community. Also, maybe Dread was supposed to be a DS title but then it got canned twice until it came to life with the reveal, so the easter egg tie-in could've been an early clue to the existence of this game had it not been shuttered for as long as it had.

Y'know, Subway gets a lot of hate, but... I really like having the ability to go out and quickly get a not-massively-processed meal containing things resembling actual vegetables, and it's the only sub location around here. It's also not even that expensive by Norwegian standards.


Plus one of the women working there is a sweetheart and always gets so happy when I swing by for a sandwich. Treating food workers like actual people makes a difference, y'all.

There are people in the world with far too much cash - just reading some articles about real estate markets and how there are $1M homes selling for $2M - double their list price.  And people are buying these in cash.

What is wrong with people, paying that much for a house!?

I mean I hear there's a housing shortage, but from where are all these people coming that are buying these houses? Where are they getting these massive amounts of cash? Are they all CA, NY, and WA ex-pats, cashing in on stupid appreciation and moving to previously lower-cost areas?

its not people (residents) buying them, it's landlords.  Or foreigners that want land assets outside of their home country.

Lot of it, yeah. There's pretty major housing buy ins going on with large businesses and whatnot right now. Some of it's with intent to rent, some for other reasons.

It's doing pretty fucking terrible things to the housing market for actual people that want to live in the house they're buying.
