But with all that BIG MAD and the combined might of a republican controlled presidency, senate, congress, and even judicial he managed to accomplish... basically diddly squat.

Despite that, and the fact he currently doesn't technically have a spot in the Republican party, party officials are still kow-towing to him because if he shuns them nobody will vote for them.

I finally now know that I'm allowed to go back to the college campus (COVID and all that). The good thing is that I'll have the entire room to myself like last semester, which is good, because I'd much prefer to be alone in my living spaces. The less good thing is that I have all of 5 days to pack. It's not unmanageable or anything, but it does mean I'll have to go back to School Mode faster than I'd prefer. And I was just getting used to this 24" monitor!

Also, I think my gait's a bit off. While walking, my left foot is hitting the big toe's middle joint, instead of hitting the big toe itself like I should. I may be putting stress on a joint that's not meant to handle it.

... it takes five days to pack? I'd expect more like... an afternoon, going back to a college dorm. S'what it tended to be for me, iirc. Bedding, couple weeks of clothes, electronics and any food/drinks/hygiene junk, whatever paperwork type cruft is needed... took a few hours to roll up, but that's about it. Maybe a full day if stuff needs to be washed, first, but...

Pretty sure it's still like that years later, actually. Except I have less clothes (I own roughly one week's worth and that's pretty much it) and more paperwork. Can fit more or less everything I own in, like, a car's passenger seat, though, especially if I go easy on the bedding.

Technically, no, but now I have to get myself out of this lethargic state I'm currently in, and it takes some time to adjust. I've done this many times, but it's still annoying. Classes start a week after I'm supposed to go back to college, thankfully, unlike last semester, where they gave you 2 days to not only get ready for classes, but also to learn the entire campus layout. That was fun.

EDIT: that or the search function is just broken. If I type 'reelya' in the magnifying glass search bar on the top of the page, and then click a link where someone quotes Reelya, it takes me to a page where there is no trace of that quoted post.
