About lyrics:

I'm generally the same. I listen to rap for lyrics but basically everything else I just enjoy the vibes rather than pay attention to the words. This might be because a lot of the music I heard growing up was fucking nonsense like Roundabout.

I love lyrics, but I have a hard time making them out clearly most of the time. Some songs I just listen to because of the melody (I mean, I listen to Rammstein occasionally and can't speak a lick of German), but I really appreciate songs that feature lyrics that hit a sweet spot between open meaning and complete gibberish.

well I didnt know just how far left they leaned, but even their names suggest political dissent.

They openly support at least one literal terrorist organisation. I guess they leant so far that they fell over and suffered a concussion?   


Normally I don't pay much attention to vocals, apart from shoutable choruses or especially nifty lines to quote when sharing a track, but sometimes it really pays to screen lyrics enough to get some idea of a band/artist's views. It's a sad reality, but these days it's the done thing for a lot, probably the majority, of bands to politicise their music. Or even just declare themselves as supporting one side or another even when their music itself was perfectly apolitical and about snake demons and rogue wizards or some shit!

I dont like Rage too much (oh surprise) but I do like Guerrilla Radio a lot and some other of their songs.

I like a lot of clasical music so lyrics never show up much there and not much into opera.

My own wtf is being in a gadoline queue since last nigth... is now 8:00 am, and the truck has not arrived yet. This migth as well take my whole day.

When I quited work the company didnt say anything about the car, I will try to stock it up on gasoline just in case.
