The forum itself won't embed images for you, so you'll have to upload the image to another site like imgur first. Then you wanna use these tags: [img][/img] and put a direct link to the image between them. To get that link you can right click or long-tap on an image and select "copy image address".

How the fuck does one listen to literally any of their songs and not realize this, are these people not english speakers? Do they not know that lyrics carry meanings?

I've found quite a lot of people just don't really listen to lyrics to begin with, tbh. They're less words with meanings to plenty of folks and more just sorta' sounds, often background ones the listeners don't really engage with much or at all.

It's a weird mindset for me, like half the reason I listen to mostly non-vocal stuff (and a good chunk of the reason I kinda' fucking hate TV) is because filtering vocals out like that is behavior that does not come naturally to me; if I'm hearing voices making distinct words I'm trying to figure out what they're saying, and there's not much of an off switch. Some people's default state is with that switch off, tho'.

Imma be honest with you folks, I don't listen to music for it's lyrical meaning.

Not that I'm blind to it or unable to appreciate it, But I do listen for the music instead of the message. I can easily just not pay attention for a few listens of a song.

Yea same here, I usually prefer music without lyrics or lyrics in another language that I can't understand, because then I don't have to think about what's being said, I just enjoy the music. 

There's just always that little paranoid fear in my head that makes me think 'Ok is it good to like this song? I need to listen to a few words... Just another brick in the wall... that clearly means something but I can't quite make out every single word, while the song sounds good I need to make sure I find the lyrics somewhere or get some information about it before I openly show I like it.  It could be about kicking puppies for all I know.'  (the previous was a vague reenactment of my thoughts hearing a particularly famous song as a kid in my dad's garage)
