Fun fact: In Warcraft 3 (don't know about WoW), the Orc Farseer's "Chain Lightning" ability button graphic shows an orcish hand forming the shocker, with the lightning coming out of the middle finger

The upright stance of humans makes any of the more hygenic anal arrangements impractical. I've not measured the average depth of the human buttcrack, but you'd need the ability to extrude your inner bowels out past the cheeks, so you'd need to be able to extend it several inches outside your body like a faecal ovipositor.

I'm not sure quite how other apes do things, but I know they don't have a butt the way we do, even the ones with enlarged cheeks for sexual display tend to have them get bigger to the sides rather than deeper, presumably to keep the anus clear.

Being the only creature that defaults to a vertical bipedal stance kind of messes up a lot of things.

You do have that slight issue of the US being very bad about letting its citizens go. Can't have you stop paying taxes now, despite no longer living in the US and all that.

That is strange. I thought that USA broke away from UK partialy over taxes.

It was a little bit shitty. The main reason for the taxes was because Britain had in fact incurred large expenses fighting against the French in North America, to defend said colonies. The stamp tax was enacted to try and pay down the debts incurred.

DC residents have to pay taxes in spite of having no representatives in the legislative branch.  Their license plates have "Taxation Without Representation" on them in protest.

Well, it makes sense because it's not a state, therefore not its own country like the other states and not a party to the Constitution. It was never really expected to become a huge city. I mean, hell, it was founded in the middle of a fetid disease-ridden swamp. Nobody really expected the current state of affairs to come about, but it can't be represented unless it's admitted as a state, which it cannot currently constitutionally be.

It should be represented as a part of Columbia. It is a district of that, after all.
