Out of the blue the interview for the permanent post that was not supposed to happen until next year is happening next month... via videoconference.

It's strange as hell. Not inherently good or bad in itself (or rather, it could mean very good or very bad things). After my previous experience I'm very wary though.

I'm looking at HWbot, just seeing what kinds of records they have. Then I looked at the Reference Frequency records for motherboards. The world record history is.. it's something else.

What the absolute fuck is happening here? Why is it oscillating up and down from 2018 to late 2019? Why does it go down; I thought the world record history should only be going up? Why is the latest record a ludicrous 3.9 GHz, when the other records top out at ~750 MHz?

The site was attacked by a zombie dragon, who slaughtered most of the populace.  A goblin invasion finished it off.

Then, sometime in the last 300 years, but recently enough so that the kobolds are still alive, they moved in.  The idea of 2 lover kobolds eloping to a fortress to steal stuff but then finding it abandoned is amusing to me.
