EDIT: Why is there going to be a Jumanji sequel sequel with the same characters? Why would anyone play Jumanji again?

Robin Williams is really going to look bad in this one, what with being dead and all. I suppose they have to go back into the game to save someone else, and otherwise it's the same plot? Or they're the parents know, and their children go through exactly the same plot?

It's nice and warm at last but I'm not really enjoying it as much as I normally would. Probably due to sleep deprivation.
Also, today's weather is apparently supposed to be gearing up to strike down any feeble asthmatics. Such as yours truly. Sounds like baseless hysteria, but you never know - my asthma has been getting kinda worse lately.

There is apparently a movement to change STEM to STEAM, adding arts to the rest of it. I can only imagine the confusion and disappointment this is causing students, though. It's certainly making me double take irritatingly often, wondering what the hell valve's getting up to this time that steam schools are being built, or what galaxy brain decided a mobile steam device for toddlers was a good idea, and so on.

Why are they adding Art to something that by definition cannot include it?

Arts are involved with some of that getting shit done, tho'. Presentation is important on multiple levels even in regards to raw functionality, nevermind actual competition that heavily involves marketing and whatnot, or organization in general with the communication involved, etc., so forth, so on. If you're intending to go for 'get shit done' not including the arts is probably kneecapping yourself before you even start running.

No clue if that's the angle this not!steam steam thing is aiming for, though. I haven't paid much attention to it besides recognizing it exists, confusing steam!steam for it, and sympathizing with kids that are probably equally confused and notably more disappointed.

They can, however, still show up in your Messenger app contacts list. I'm a little uncertain of the details, but I think it probably has to do with having triggered/accepted a message request before you were friends.

Since Intel intends to cull so many useful service area downloads by the end of the week-- (https://www.zdnet.com/article/intel-to-remove-old-drivers-and-bios-updates-from-its-site-by-the-end-of-the-week/)

I have been furiously using wget to get handles to all the downloads in their service area. (The way they have their server configured, you cannot just query it for its contents, it returns 403 access denied if you try, which means you HAVE to know the full path and name of each and every file if you want to access them!)

This is with the plan to amass a collection of currently valid deep links into their service area (since they frustrate cloning by using an HTTPS redirector script when you download via their web portal!), so that then I can point archive.org at it, and mass-mirror the whole damn thing.

just the HTTP data of their support site is over 4gb in size, and I am STILL not done crawling it with wget.
