Truthfully, it's a FF Tactics/FF12-themed arc. So it's probably taken directly from that.

Hehe, I remember I always had to make a rule not to use THUNDERGOD CID because he felt so overpowered.  I have a lot of fun memories of that game.

I remember there was one really hard fight with a bunch of demon guys, and both me and my brother had entirely different strategies to beat it.

I converted my whole party to dancers, and they were all just running away doing the slow-dance until all the demons could barely take turns, and then I could grind them down one at a time.

My brother turned his whole team to Dragoons, so that half the time his whole team was in the sky and couldn't be attacked.

Meanwhile, a Wizard with Math Skill as a secondary and the proper equipment could kill all of them with a single action. Math Skill is that broken.

The whole boss sequence revolves around transformed/possessed former owners of auracite, and therefore many characters from tactics appear in thus state.

Thunder-God Cid is one of them, Mustadio is another, Ultima is the final boss.
