In other news, I have gone from being madly cheerful and excitable to worried and confused to thoroughly morose, all because an attempt of mine at social interaction wasn't reacted to as enthusiastically as I'd hoped.

If you're willing to dive a little into the settings, uBlock Origin lets you customize the filter lists; the stuff that gets blocked. Jusk keep in mind that each filter list added will increase the CPU and memory usage of uBlock Origin.

I was surprised to learn just now, that my favorite manga artist, Keisuke Itagaki, who created Baki The Grappler (the only manga I really follow devotedly) is 62 yrs old. The manga is heating up in such an incredible, passionate way, and the person making it is basically an old man past Japan's retirement age!

How long you going to keep doing this Keisuke?!

My mom went to her doctor after her time in the hospital, the visit was specifically to talk about the visit and stay, and to start making a treatment plan.

Apparently her doctor had no idea what happened, had no records whatsoever other than 'she visited the emergency room' and didn't even know she was kept in the hospital for 4 days with pneumonia and was also diagnosed with lung cancer.

Mom is claiming that is just how the medical field works and isn't bothered.  I'm bothered because the entire point of the visit was to talk about that stuff and they knew less than she did.  WTF medical field.

With "her doctor" do you mean her oncologist or her GP?

The GP.  EDIT: She is going to see another doctor later in the week, that's an oncologist.

I would think the general practitioner would be kept in the loop though.  The hospital certainly knows who he is because they asked her who her GP was while I was in the room, and from what I understand he worked in that hospital a few days a week.
