The only proper way to drink coffee

Reason I'm trying teas is that one of my coworkers claims it's healthier than my Dr Pepper I down liters of daily, without missing the caffeine.

They are right about that. I recommend Matte tea, but I dunno if you can get that easily outside South America.

You're drinking it wrong. If you go for Americcano of course it will taste of dirty water. Drinking Americcano and saying coffee tastes like dirty water is the equivalent of drinking English Breakfast Tea and complaining that it's shit only made drinkable by adding milk

If you truly like coffee you go for pure thick, black, coffee, no sugar. If possible a pure double espresso. In fact I find regular black coffee to be a poor substitute for a double espresso, but that's probably because most people who brew it brew it weak  (and as far as I'm concerned I've never bothered preparing anything other than espresso)


For that matter I think you're probably basing your opinion of green tea  on a cheap green tea. If you tried a better variety like one of the better senchas (I find Japanese green tea overall better, while I favor India for black tea -though I dont like black tea very much. China I prefer for pu erh and oolong but they have pretty good greens as well

Poo is right. Remember that filthy Staters drink coffe from cups that could easily be used for soda or juice. That's because it's dilluted to the point where it literally is just dirty water. 'round here we drink from tiny little cups, or tea cups sometimes, because we drink actual black, thick cofee.

Hmm.. I lack the appropriate apparatus to make proper coffee at work. That said, I do my best to make coffee that could double as ink.  (I have a generic Kenmore made "keureg" machine, that has a nice little basket for using loose coffee.  We also have industrial coffee machines that make weak, and terrible coffee, but have the hot water valve. I spoon a good amount of my dry grounds into said basket, and very very very slowly trickle the hot water through them so that inky black coffee comes out into my cup below. It's not quite as good as french press or proper steam extracted espresso, but it suffices.)

I make cheap coffee in a cheap machine and use powdered non-dairy creamer that's 90% aspartame and food dye. Fight me.
