Personally, I think German's a rather interesting language. GF is allergic to it, though.

The whole French=sexy is just a weird cultural thing in America. I don't think it has to do anything with how French actually sounds, it's just people think French is sexy because they've been told it sounds sexy.

German also isn't a ridiculously harsh language like it is stereotyped to be here.

You should try Finnish. Can't speak for a minute without rhyming or alliterating, and even the rhythm of your speech can carry meaning. It's no wonder that rap music ("suomiräp") is so prolific here.

French is a stupid language.

the word "eau" is pronounced as a vowel that isn't even in the word.

I probably only think this because I was forced to learn it in school, and I wasn't taught enough about English to understand the various things they were talking about for French.
