And then on page 2880 (50pop master race fuck the wooooorld) the WTF thread achieved apotheosis via a scintillating combination of passive aggression, arguing away from each other, popcorn, and being pounded in the butt by surprise Chuck Tingle.

Unfortunately, this in the current circumstances will not reach the heights that it so deserves.

And then on page 2880 (50pop master race fuck the wooooorld) the WTF thread achieved apotheosis via a scintillating combination of passive aggression, arguing away from each other, popcorn, and being pounded in the butt by surprise Chuck Tingle.

Alright, about two hundred posts later, wierd finally makes half a concession that the k'n-yan probably are really quite that bad when viewed from any perspective other than his enlightened ultra-rational stance, which the majority of humanity by his own admission does not share.

I look forward to your presidency when you rationally point out to the rest of the world that our current way of life is unsustainable as well, since it seems to me reasonable that if you can reasonably expect it to work for the k'n-yan, it should work for humans.

With that, I think we're about done here. I'm bored of trying to persuade wierd that it's possible he made an error if judgment concerning a story he hadn't read in a while, and it's late.

Show's over folks, go to your homes!

That while other people make their healthy lifestyle a staple, you somehow manage to make it SEXY too?

Tommy Wiseau also did another movie with Greg Sestero. Best F(r)iends. Pretty fun.

Handwashing my gi has made me realise that putting a tiny bit of water into it causes it to drip an unlimited amount of water, no matter how much you wring it.

Handwashing my gi
Seems pretty hard to do, what with all the muscles and high body mass and such.

My mother is currently obsessed with and binge-watching a Colombian "telenovela", or soap opera, from the early 2000s.
Of all the things on Netflix to watch, she has settled on this. Why?! It's like... Neighbours or Home and Away in Spanish, with various cultural differences and elaborate hand gestures. The wooden acting and... well, wooden everything remain the same, though. Even the soundtrack is jarring and awful! Why are there sudden, whimsical harmonica riffs at seemingly random moments throughout?!
The prevalence of cheesy accordion ballads I can just put down to cultural differences.

At least the other shows she usually watches tend to have at least some merit, like interesting historical sets and costumes and such. I suppose I've been guilty in the past of getting into really dreadful shows, films or books, simply due to making a start on them and getting invested (or even just wanting to see how it ends), but I'm surprised she could even stomach this for long enough to reach that stage.
Just about the only redeeming quality of this show is the grouchy, long-suffering grandfather who waves his arms about all the time and happily and savagely trash-talks his offspring at any opportunity.
