But what kind of milk would that be? Sheep's milk tastes quite different from cow's milk, and neither of those taste anything like human milk.

I thought it was obvious that the scanning crew was killed and their bodies hidden under the falcon's floorboards.

Like, forever? Did they chuck them out into space? Did they get back to Yavin and Han is loading up his vague reward boxes and they open it up and are like oooooo it's been a few days now ewww?

Maybe in Ep.IX they are going to open a locker and it's like ha ha o these guys *plop*

The Imperials went on board a second time to plant the tracking device that led them to Yavin. They probably removed the bodies then. On the other hand, Vader probably told them to leave them there so they'd stink up the Falcon on the way.

Removing the bodies might let our heroes realize that the ship might have been tampered with.

It actually makes very little sense that the scanning crew were not found by their imperial comrades before the Falcon crew got back. Two men didn't report in and it's a highly regimented military organization. If the bodies were not removed that itself would look really suspicious.

Remember Leia said the whole thing was too easy, because they wanted them to escape. The two-man scanning team could have been part of a ruse to get the Falcon crew off the ship in order to plant tracking devices on it.

The basic plot problem is that all the heroes except Leia are too dumb to realize they've been set up, and the heroes are our point of view characters. If the Imperials wanted they could have loaded an entire platoon of troops inside the Falcon and have kept the ship locked down. Leaving the bodies in to keep it authentic would not have been necessary.
