I have the DS version, which I assume is a bit less powered than the others.

EDIT: it's based on the Sims 2 engine, so the PC version being "meh" might be a subjective opinion from PC players who preferred the full Sims 2 game. Technically, the standalone Sims 2 "Stories" games were completely fine, you just can't do all the expansion set things. We had a couple of the different Stories ones and they were fine, in fact it was refreshing to just play the game without worrying about which expansions you needed.

Hell the fuck yes.
I'd much rather experience Diablo as a movie than as more grind.  And Blizzard are killer at making rad animations.

That said, I heard the Warcraft movie was a disappointment.  I couldn't give a fig about Warcraft, but I hope they bring their A game for Diablo.

Which means maybe Actiblizzie/Netflix are going to cancel the talks and/or movie/show/whatever.

I have to point out that the writer in question isn't the writer of the original comic book Hellboy, he did the screenplay for the new Hellboy movie that's coming out.

The main issue with the Warcraft movie was that somebody thought it would be a good idea to make it live-action. Also Medivh retcon... But considering they've retconned big stuff in all the games, doing it in a movie makes perfect sense for Blizz.

Weren't there a few Diablo cartoons back in the day? Regardless, doing it in animated format is a much better idea than trying to do it with live actors, even though Diablo has a lot more human-shaped characters in it than Warcraft...

I guess we can all go see Hellboy first. Then we either spread tales of joy, or pass a final and merciless judgement upon Diabloshow based on how it does. That's how this works.

Quickedit: Also I'd much prefer an animated series. Even like a CGI thing. Unless you got Dwayne Johnson to play the Barbarian from D2. I'd support that unconditionally.
