On the topic of task managers, you know what's even MORE fun than having to open it to close a game, when opening it doesn't actually display because the game just makes the screen black when you do that and then you have no choice but to initiate log off to get out of it (Maybe CTRL+Shift+Esc will work, I wasn't aware of it)

You open the start menu and open something on it, it forces the game into windowed mode.

I've used that menu, but it just breaks on some games, the screen except the task bar goes black, and when I click on anything in it, it vanishes, nothing comes up and the only way out is back to the menu, is really annoying

It’s called the “power” button.

Most computers don't have one, but it can actually be activated by pressing Ctrl, Alt, and Delete at the same time.

By the way, that opens a menu on Win8 instead of rebooting.

I’m reasonably sure it’s always opened a menu, it was a double press of the combo that restarted the computer.

In the DOS era, including Windows 1.0-3.11, Ctrl-Alt-Del was an instant reboot. It wasn't until Windows 95 that it did anything else.

Almost got kicked out of a computer convention once because a friend of mine didn't know that.

Now, I didn't know what Cardiazol was, so I decided to check it out on Wikipedia. It's apparently a "circulatory and respiratory stimulant", that at high doses causes uncontrollable seizures and was actually used to induce seizures in patients as part of convulsive therapy, before electroshock became the better option.

It was (until fairly recently) also apparently sold as cough medicine in Italy.

Logan had refused to go to school for two years, only leaving his room for food or the bathroom, because of his addiction to the popular video game Fortnite.

Obviously if the kid's been like a hikkomori (Japanese type teenage recluse) for at least 2 years now, the culprit cannot be Fortnite, for obvious reasons. I'd be pretty certain that what he's playing is the free Fortnight Battle Royale mode, which only really became a big thing at the start of this year. So no, Fortnite is just a popular free game at the moment, it has nothing to do with this kid's issues.
