Here's an EFF article about it (from February) with some important context, I feel.  This isn't someone making a tweet then DMCA-ing you for embedding their public tweet, that would be weird.  This was someone tweeting a copyrighted photograph, a bunch of news agencies embedding the tweet to make use of the photograph, and the photographer challenging the news agencies (as well as the tweeter, I assume).

That said, in the US the question is better re-framed "Does your country have any states that are not made fun of?"

In Britain, it's common for everyone to have one for almost everyone else. Down here in the civilised bit of the Southwest we make fun of Plymouth (Janners), Bristol (or Brizl, if you were born there), the small towns (Tiverton especially for their inbreeding) the Northerners, the Welsh and Cornish.  Everyone else makes fun of us, the Welsh, the Irish, the Scottish, the northern Irish, and whoever happens to be one county over.

To note - Seriously though, Tivertonians are the most savagely inbred people.  They all look like Deep Ones.  No one is impressed by Plymouth - it's a complete shithole and the entire city is like some dystopian concrete project to see how awful we can make human existence before an entire city will collectively take their own pathetic lives.

Yes. All of the places, actually. Stockholm for being twats. Skåne for being Danish. The Northlands for being mute and emotionally crippled. Islandislanders for being inbred, and also Stockholmarjävlar. Northlanders for being inbred. Gothenburgians for being Gothenburgians. Jönköpingare for being free-religious zealots.

The only places in Sweden which don't get made fun off by the other parts are the places that everybody else have forgotten exist. And the Smallands, because we are the objectively ubermen of the world and everybody admires and worships us.

Also, remember - the regions/provinces of Sweden generally corresponds roughly to the old tribal territories of the nation. That means there's a lot of very old hangups and prejudices that gets thrown around. Mostly as jokes nowadays, of course.
