I choose sleep apnea option as the most plausible, because I don't think I've ever put a bedsheet in my mouth.

Definitely the latter, although it was at one of those stupid "let's make pedestrians and turning sidestreet traffic all cross at the same time" intersections that somebody thought would be a great way to boost Melbourne's efficiency, so I suppose it is partly incompetent city planners who are to blame.

Still, I went to cross when the signal sounded and the car that was turning next to me started moving, so I thought "jeez, this c-word's in a hurry," and stayed where I was.
Then they stopped again, seemingly due to spotting me and/or realising I had right of way (which isn't exactly an unusual occurrence, so I thought nothing of it and wasn't on guard), and so I began making my way across the street only for the car to suddenly lurch forward when I was right in their path, as though they'd stomped the accelerator.
Didn't have time to do anything but turn towards the threat and reflexively brace my hands against the bonnet. No doubt if they hadn't stopped right then that action would have made things worse, but they did and so I prevented myself from tumbling arse-over-tit at least. My face still bounced off the car and immediately started gushing blood, though, but it was thankfully only from a split upper lip.

Sure, it's a pretty nasty split that might have a hard time healing, but at least it's on the inside, so my disfigurement isn't too visible, and apart from that I only have a bit of a bruise just under my chin. Hard to tell the extent of it 'cause it's been a while since I shaved.

I feel pretty damn lucky. My teeth don't seem to have acquired any new chips and none of them even seem loose. I thought my lips were a lot more mangled than they turned out to be at the time, but really they just bled an inordinate amount. In that moment when my hands were against the car and I had no idea what was about to happen, though, it was sheer horror. Somehow, in that brief instant, I had time to imagine my imminent demise as the car drove forwards over me, my torso and head being sucked beneath the bumper and crushed into the bitumen as this clearly homicidal driver killed the shit out of me.

Then my head bounced back up and I realised I was still upright, and the driver (who I had been sure was intending to kill me in that moment) was clambering out of the car, spluttering apologies.

I probably could have been more eloquent and witty with my response to their apologies (or at least demanded a slab of beer in exchange for not suing his arse), but alas, I was very much in shock.

Tl;dr: I never thought the phrase "not just a pretty face" was supposed to be taken so literally. Apparently mine even functions as ablative armour!

Got a bunch of bullshit questions less than 20 minutes after waking up from my mom. Asking about my friends' jobs, ages, what their addresses are. Shit, why not ask for their SIN while you're at it?

I know about my friends, but of course I can't answer when I just woke up and am groggy. So that meant to her that they aren't really my friends, feeding in to her 'no-one cares about you' narrative because I can't respond off the top of my head when I just get up.

It's B+. And the only reason I actually remember it is because I think that's a hilariously ironic bloodtype for someone with a stress/anxiety/depression diagnosis.
