A single one of my beard hairs has managed to tie itself into a perfect little square knot.

It's evolving...

Pics or it didn't happen.

Mine does this too occasionally. Curly beard hairs can have some strange qualities in my experience.

Probably doesn't help that I've done absolutely fuckall to tame the damn beast... It's in full-blown hobo mode right now. I don't have any good beard trimmers (nor do I have any expertise in shaping), and I've been self-conscious about going back to the one hairdresser I'd trust to shape it up because she was a little too enthusiastic last time I was there ("Please let me trim this shorter? Oh thank you!").

The rest of my hair's also going bonkers too, long and thick with the usual rebellious antennae thrust out at inopportune angles.

I'm 8 episodes into the second (last) season, and feeling like things are wrapping up.

Spoiler: Nothing is wrapped up. Fucking nothing. Well, except Coop's Damn Good Cup o' Coffee(TM).

You basically just need to take Twin Peaks at face -absurd- value. Yes, many of the performances are corny or outright "bad", but we will never know if this was intentional or not. You just... Fuck, man, I don't even know.

The last 2-3 episodes go completely catshit though. Expect a whole lot of Whiskey with your Tango Foxtrot. Also, say hi to Samson making waves as 'That Other Role He Played Before Carnivalé'.
To answer your question, though: yes. Probably.

@TV: I still need to watch more of his work, I'm ashamed to say.
Still, Twin Peaks is one of the best things I've ever seen.
It turns out that S2:E8 was a funny time for me to break down and post, because the next episode actually bothered to address many issues.  It's more of a season finale than Season 1 had.  I'm back on board this crazy train.
(Later, because even honorary season finales deserve a pause for contemplation)

Edit: Hopefully surprising no one, Agent Cooper reminds me a lot of myself.  I like to think that I'm diplomatic first in my dealings.  Undeniably eccentric, which I make up for with passion.  Lawful and Good, both to a fault, I like to think.

And I have a nigh-diagnosable compulsion to record my thoughts and certain events.  It makes me sad to think about moments being lost.  Like tears in the rain, etc.
I commentate on the world, my family, my life.  But primarily, I commentate.

I just returned from a fullmetal alchemist discussion in the anime thread, and a fullmetall alchemist video just appeared in my YouTube recommendations. It’s been a while since I looked at anything FMA on the Internet so the discussion must have been what triggered it.

It’s crazy and scary what these algorithms can do sometimes. According to some of the people here, the advertising corporations definitely aren’t watching us through cameras and listening through our microphones, but does it really matter when they have access to every other piece of our information out there?

It's sad, but not unexpected. Your comment reminded me of the "don't care one way or the other" response.

You say that, but I don't really think you've seen enough corpses for that to be true.

No you're not. It's just pixels, and none of the pixels even represent corpses because the resolution is too small. And most of 'em would probably be hidden by clouds and trees and shit.
