Poor dialogue, bizarre logic, poor science.

One scene involves 3 people entering the site of a Graboid attack in the Canadian Arctic. Despite having no clue to the origin of the attack - namely the lack of a hole in the ice - they quickly conclude that something attacked them from within the ice.

They also seem quite chipper for having had 3 of their pals killed.

The tremors movies are pure genius, they are the perfect mix of camp, comedy, and serious.  I mean have you seen Burt's crowning moment of badass?
