Generally, I tend to associate avocado with savory/salty dishes like... Well, guacamole. But a sweet avocado milkshake actually has this strangely nutty flavor that pairs with the sweetness and the avocado's general fattiness very well.

Also it was a Vietnamese milkshake, so boba. And that's always fun.

Thai restaurant cheated me on spice, gave me mild instead. Bastards.

Theyre becoming midwesterners. They will soon cease to use any forms of spices or seasoning and literally just serve steamed sadness and oven baked disappointment.

I only remember their appetizers.
And the one time my high school teacher's lactos-intolerant friend sent her burger back, and got it back covered in scraped-off cheese.  But that was uh over a decade ago, so maybe I should stop telling that story.

The one near my dad recently closed, but they made a killer decent, AFAIK Long Island Iced Tea.  RIP, that locally owned franchise.

You think you've got it tough? Pcheh, in Norway, black pepper (the strongest of such strange apothecary's herbs) is only ever used in sparing amounts, if at all, so as not to damage one's sensibilities. My grandmother, bless her strange soul, cannot eat onions because they are too spicy.

I have managed to get some Thai hole-in-the-wall to give me proper spicy food. Asking for "Thai spicy" rather than very hot seems to help, despite that being a very white people thing to say. Learning enough to actually approach something resembling a correct pronunciation of the dish also goes a very long way.

I, for one, actually haven't seen Demolition Man. So now I'm included in that conversation too.

Y'all talking about spices like us white folk don't have any. Flour is far and above the best spice, with mayonnaise a close second. Nothing compares.

I know you're joking but a dusting of flour over fresh baked rolls is pretty spice, tbh

And black pepper is overrated here, at least IMHO.  It's good in some things, sparingly... kinda like oregano actually.

Some spices must be used in moderation.

For everything else, there's parsley~

... uh, I'm not sure flour is generally considered a... spice. It's certainly not a spicy one unless you've blended in peppers or somethin'. Not sure how legit sauces/condiments are in a spice competition, either, really...

There is white pepper, though, if you're talking coloration. Dunno what they do to peppercorn to make it but eh.
