I've had the phone for a couple of years, but the battery has been pretty reasonable normally.

Jesus holy fuck. I went and read some of the threads in the sci.physics.relativity google group. Half of the posts are by a few clearly delusional crackpots peddling their pet 'theories', the other half is some spammers selling drugs. There's an occasional educated poster tilting at windmills, followed by a swarm of vile responses.
It should be cleansed with fire and salted over.

Had a bird flying around the back area of the store today. At first we thought it was a bluejay, but it turned out to be a blue parakeet. Somebody had apparently lost their pet. Was a fairly chill bird. Landed on a rack close to me and chilled for a few minutes before someone chased it away. The main WTF here is how my coworkers were acting. I really don't trust them with small animals. The bird didn't either, because while it was cool with people near it, it did not want people trying to grab it.

Eventually the bird flew into an enclosed office room, where someone managed to capture it in a cardboard box, and we got animal control there. They'll look for the owner, and if nobody claims it within five days, the manager who caught it expressed interest in adopting it.


EDIT: I bought new socks last weekend, and just took them off after wearing them all day. Holy shit, just above the ankle is squeezed almost to half the thickness it should be. That I still have feeling or even function in my foot is hard to believe.

Heresy, real poutine should give you a heat attack from the sheer amount and density of gravy, cheese, salt and calories and must be obtained from a food truck in sizes measured by thousands of calories.

Oh, don't worry, LOTF is still extremely unhealthy.
I think part of their mission statement is to emulate as closely as possible the same levels of horrific greasiness found in the non-vego versions of their foods.

That's why it is generally eaten with a fork, not hands, you silly bugger.

It's not the mess, it's the texture. Chips should be crunchy, not soggy. The same deal with those places in Australia who make hot chips in foil containers soaked in gravy: I'm no big fan of that.

Poutine is the best with a massive mound of fries smothered in scalding hot gravy with pockets of melted mozzarella, slowly turning into a stew of fat, salt, potato, gravy and cheese. You need to give it a try, it is soooo goooood. I normally would agree that chips/fries shouldn't be soggy but poutine is an exception in my books.

Mmmm I need poutine now.

Why do a large number of people here seem to hate Roblox? I haven't played it, but it doesn't seem super hate-worthy on the surface.

Community = Crap, Gameplay = Crap, Graphics = Crap. Triple C game. The servers should be taken down by a skilled team of hackers, or just broken into and destroyed with a fire axe. Pooblots, as I call it. Same with Minecrap.
