In the Old Testament, God went down to Earth and got into a wrestling match with a dude (Jacob) that lasted an entire night or something for reasons. I think it was for the universal championship or something.

Didnt he lose the match, too?

And he arose that night and took his two wives, his two female servants, and his eleven sons, and crossed over the ford of Jabbok. 23 He took them, sent them over the brook, and sent over what he had. 24 Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day. 25 Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him, He touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of Jacob’s hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him. 26 And He said, “Let Me go, for the day breaks.”

But he said, “I will not let You go unless You bless me!”

27 So He said to him, “What is your name?”

He said, “Jacob.”

28 And He said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel;[a] for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.”

Soo.. did God throw the fight(kayfabe)? Or was he trying to find out what would happen if he created a wrestler so beefed up that not even him could beat him?

Writing is more about the syntax and structure of a story.
How you convey ideas, and whether you spell something out or use metaphor, or leave subtle clues.

The actual spelling is less important than even grammar is.  It only matters insofar as it reduces clarity.

... though do note reducing clarity isn't exactly a small thing. Still pretty important. Same as grammar, really. Theoretically you can throw all the rules out the window as you please, in practice it can lead less to getting your point across and more people wanting to put pointy things in you to make the frustration end.
