Want to say that means something has turned running javascript off, or is stopping it from running the script in question. Which borks things exactly like you're describing.

Pop up/ad blocker or no-script addon/extension/whatever would be a possible culprit, if it helps any. Some browsers let you fairly easily fiddle with when/how/if JS runs, too.

There was a gas leak at my place. Someone called; gas company came, kicked in door, dug up the yard, replaced the meter, left my gas off and a note.... I have to get the inside fixed in the morning. Thankfully, everyone says the pipes won't freeze tonight. I'm hoping the valves just need replaced, not all the pipes, or something.

Also, glad it didn't blow up. Though at least no one  would've been home if it had.... Still.

I've been trying to login to wacom to download the software needed but the login button does nothing, hovering over it shows 'javascript:void(0)' in the bottom left corner, and using the url shows a blank white screen.

Specifically, that means the button is a link that doesn't actually go to any real page (javascript:void(0) is a special URL that does nothing), but uses a click handler to do whatever it's supposed to do. That click handler not running is your core problem.
