The UK or US version?
I found that the UK version was one of those brutally cringy shows - not necessarily a bad thing, just something you need to be in the right frame of mind to enjoy - whereas the US version seemed to be just plain bad.

UK version was meh, cringey as hell, but I really enjoyed the US version (well, the seasons with Steve Carell anyway.)

I'm watching the US version. I don't really go in for cringe humor.
Which is interesting because I liked parks and rec.

I'm not a fan of Cringe Humor either, and I found the first season of parks and rec realllllly terrible because that was mostly it, I don't know why I watched further, some combination of having the time and a lot of people on the internet saying it gets better, and it does to be fair, after the first season a lot of the cringe humor is dropped for actually being funny, and so I for the most part enjoyed the rest of it. I tried the office but yeah, couldn't get past the first season.

Somehow I posted this rant in the Happy thread instead of this one:
Fucking daylight savings has screwed me over again.
This time, though, it's because I didn't realise the damn thing ended on the 1st - now I've gotten up early, smashed together some lunch in the dark (on bread that may or may not be mouldy, what fun) and rushed through an unpleasant, early morning shower, eating nothing but a bowl of cereal before rushing out the door, only to realise as I got off the train and approached the bus stop that, shit, that clock reads the same time as my phone. Whoooops.

So now I'm running ridiculously early... not the worst thing in the world, sure, but if I'd realised I could have taken the time to exercise and eat a more nourishing meal, two things I like to do in the morning before work.
Also, now I'll have about an hour to kill after my bus ride. I guess I could sit and read somewhere but there isn't much in the way of ambience to be had in this suburban wasteland I traverse on my morning commute... at least I didn't unwittingly show up at work an hour early, now that would have been... weird.



On the bright side, though, at least DST is finally freaking over! Rejoice!
