Note that in most European countries, and, indeed, a good chunk of the US  16 is   actually the age of consent.  I find someone in his or her twenties getting laid with someone who is 16 unusual (because age differences usually mean very different life perspectives), but I certainly dont  think it constitutes rape by default.

Almost quit my job again today, only talked out of it as I was leaving at the end of the day by my sister. The district manager came by, the supervisor tells him that the reason I get backed up in what I'm doing is my fault; it's not, it's because literally everyone else puts speed over quality control, I have to clean up the inevitable mess and there's only me doing my job 99.9% of the time. So, the DM essentially eliminates my position, and the supervisor gives me work that literally takes four people to do, as in four entirely different tasks that take a different person each, and I have to juggle all four at once. A few minutes later when she realizes this isn't going to work(several minutes after I realized it), instead of doing a reasonable thing about someone with a massive over-workload, she just gets very nasty with me the entire day.

I also showed my sister the photographs I've been taking of people trapping me into a corner, over a dozen in a 6-week period. She wasn't happy about that.


Separately, I learned that my nephew, who lives in Florida, went over to a friend's house, where friend and two other friends jumped him and beat the shit out of him. Then one of the "friend"'s father comes, pulls my nephew away, and possibly cracked the back of his skull open with a baseball bat. No arrests so far, and I can help but doubt there ever would be.
