Huh. Cinnamon toast... shreds. Just noticed they were selling them a few days ago, finally opened the box and realized what they were today. Shredded wheat, absolutely slathered inside and out with cinnamon and sugar. It. Kinda' defeats the point of shredded wheat, really...

... on the other hand, they're also kinda' friggin' delicious. Like heavier cinnamon toast crunch things, with more sugar per individual square/rectangle thing, and a more... gradual, I guess, chewing experience. Couldn't tell what it was until I actually bit into it, though. Looked and felt like a heavier version of the usual, and then your teeth get to it and it's the spindly shreddy bits, surprise!

I'm trying to move some racks out of the way so I can start doing my job when the donation center manager decides to put an empty box down right in the way, then walk away. I toss the box onto a nearby pile of empty boxes. Then the donation center manager starts screaming at me, followed by the production manager joining in. And not just saying "don't do that", actual screaming. The store manager was nearby, and I'm actually surprised he didn't start screaming at me.

I need more context for this. Was the box actually not empty? From their reaction it sounds like it contained half a kilogram of weapons-grade plutonium.

No, it was empty. Apparently she was going to move it elsewhere, except "walking away and doing something else" and "taking it and putting it somewhere else" don't exactly translate to the same thing as far as I know.

She's actually a massive pain in the ass. Everyone hates her, and until today I was probably one only people who would have stood up for her.

My wtf of the day...

I was taking the trash out and I saw sitting on the corner of the dumpster a birthday cake, like one of those you buy at the store. Thing was that the box looked unopened (I didn't try opening it) and the cake was completely untouched, by all appearances it looked perfectly fine. Who the hell wastes a perfectly good birthday cake?

I didn't touch it as I didn't know how long it was there, so it's obviously most likely not good now. I'm sure there are perfectly logical reasons to throw out a perfectly good cake that was untouched, but still....

Ive bought my own fucking cake for like the last 5-6 years now because everyone else either forgets or doesnt care. And i havent shared much of them either
