Got a... strange voicemail. A very aggressive-sounding lady was saying that after several attempts to contact me that my chance to lower my credit card interest rate will expire, and then to press 1 to speak with their customer service rep or press 2 to let it expire.

Bear in mind that A) I have no credit cards in my name, B) there have been no attempts to contact me from this company, and C) it was a voicemail recording.

You haven't really lived until you get a phone call from the "IRS" demanding that you immediately call them back or else they will sic the police on you. That's the real crazy.

I think thats something we all experience, yeah.

Today i was talking to a couple of the lead clerks about a cashiering position, since cashiering on night shift here is pretty laid back and the positions still unfilled. So when one of them brought it up with the assistant manager as i was walking by to leave, he said "oh hell no i want him on freight" effectively. I am both glad that im considered good enough to keep and terrified that this might mean i cant transfer out without upsetting the manager if i really needed to. This job is really freaking exhausting and im tired all the time, tho they swear ive been improving, and the cashiering job sounds sooo easy with a small set of clear-cut responsibilities and im a lazy fuck... and i know im fairly good at cashiering, too.

At least im losing weight again.
