To back Frumple up (as if this is... not public knowledge) I first started seeing "thirsty" as a euphemsm maybe a year ago. 

I was a little surprised at first, but it clearly fits.  Thirst is our most demanding need, after air.  It easily shifts meaning into "Needing something desperately".

Really, not only does she disassemble and misuse company equipment, she also creates and uses an open flame in an office environment. I am STUNNED at the lack of reaction of her co-workers.

Haha I'm wondering how much of this is unconscious sexism. I see vids of dudes in offices doing silly things with tech all the time and people don't jump to "don't they have a job to do?"

We sort of assume that if a dude is wasting time in an office he must have a right to do with his time as he pleases.
