And now I am being flooded by every single Amy Schumer criticism under the sun. YouTube I get it!

Heh, that happens to me a lot too.  Sometimes I mark stuff like that as "not interested", which does seem to help.  Just ignoring it and liking other stuff works too, eventually. 

It can be a little frustrating, almost like a punishment for liking a video when I disagree with the channel's politics, but I think it's actually a good system.  Sometimes I get interesting content from channels I'd generally avoid, too.

And who the fuck is game grump and why is he so popular?
I get a lot of longplay stuff, but thats expected.
And I also see some workout stuff, some shallow national politics stuff, and Im currently getting spammed for this guy

Certain people only, and I usually listen to them while doing something else on a computer.

Some people are too childish or pedantic. some are mad for NOOO reason, and some are boring, they just cant talk idly.

But some are entertaining enough.  I rather like hearing backstory or explaining games.  Since I dont plan to play many of the ones I listen to.

This is mostly conjecture, and might just be confirmation bias, but my friends and I seem to start getting recommended channels when any of us start binging it.  And I don't mean the stuff where the first 10 comments are "Why did Youtube recommend this", but fairly established stuff.

The question is, how might Google have determined that we're "friends"?  It would help that we're all mutually subscribed to each other.  With that established, it would be pretty easy to detect that we commonly watch videos at roughly the same time.

Or I'm overthinking it.  Likely, I only get these recommendations because I've liked similar content in the past, when said friends linked it to me.  Even the stuff that's a bit "out there" - I have a "weakness" for upvoting good content on a bad channel.  Especially videos I actively disagree with, but I feel treat the subject fairly.

I used to pop my knuckles, but popping joints in general is pretty gross yeah...
Popped my jaw back a few times after sparring with my brother, hehe.  Was sore, but better than leaving it out of place.
