Highlander V was ...

meh.  I liked the concept, but it was shallow and too jokey and didnt explore the concepts they pushed.

And also the plot didnt make much fucking sense in the fridge.

Still, better than 2 and 3.

Nobody says dude anymore?

Pass me the bottle.
I say dude all the time. I also sometimes say "rad" and throw out the occasional Clay Davis-style "shieeeet".
Wouldn't mind adding some more variety to my slang, or starting to use a catchphrase or two, but I always forget to use them when a fitting opportunity arises. :-/

Anyway, in conclusion, anyone who doesn't say "dude" deserves to be mocked with the utmost scorn.

I'm pretty sure everyone who has said "people still say dude" here counts as old people though.

Maybe, but I hear it coming out of anklebiter little shits and teens often enough. More than I do out of my own age cohorts, at the absolute least.

UGH! I played another game for six hours (probably 5) just trying to see if there was a point to the game!

But no... It is just a mindless exploration game dressed as something more. Yet it isn't even a good exploration game or for me even a good game for me to turn my brain off.

The game is Yonder...

Now I shall annoy you by linking you to an article by someone who has a different opinion, though a similar assessment to your own. I will do this because I haven't played the game myself, so I can't argue with you myself. I also hope that by linking this I can show you a way in which to enjoy said game, or at the least understand why it is the way it is.
It's a link.

It's white on blue for me.

Also I don't understand the joke.

Also I'm uncomfortable with the word emoji.

True. I am almost a quarter-century of age, now. 'Tis a disturbing thought.
Pretty sure I've heard plenty of legit young folks say it too, though.

I know WHY it is the way it is... I am saying that I don't like it. It is shallow, the gameplay is uninteresting, the visuals end up running together, the navigation is tedious.

Just read this guy's review and you will know EXACTLY why you won't like it.

Though the Brewer Guild is mostly pointless... The ONLY thing you can craft from it of any importance are hair dyes.

Better yet TWO guilds are the exact same... (They just use different materials... But that is the only difference)

I could sense that Yonder was a REALLY REALLY different game while it was in development/drawing-board versus what it is now.

If I want to play Yonder except better... I'll play MySims.

Ps. NO way that guy is ever beating the game. He what? Just found the Brewer guild? So that is about 2 hours of gameplay.

Well, "B" in a square is some kind of new maymay/trend, IIRC. Don't know anything about it, though I've seen it on Reddit...

My WTF & also a question:
So, I currently use Windows 8.1 Pro, which is native to my notebook, yet I get major FPS problems with games such as Borderlands 2 and Rome: Total War. I can understand why R:TW has problems with running it on laptops, yet Borderlands 2, a game which was released only a year before Win 8.1, has serious lag even with minimal PhysX features. And the funniest thing is, BL2 works like a charm on Win7 with maximal settings (R:TW still has problems, though. Especially when you run it on x3 battle speed) on my laptop. The question is, anyone here had the problem when a laptop with a native Win 8.1/10 has problems maintaining good FPS in some games, yet these games work good when the laptop runs on "unsupported" Win7?

By "native" I mean that it comes installed with it, and it's the supported (by *company_name's tech support) version of Windows for a laptop.

You are not truly old, until you feel like watching Bingo on television.
Or attending Bingo clubs, where you can win stuff like teapot sets or something.
(Half the elderly people I know of, are into that sort of thing.)
